Identify your pollen parents easily when hybridizing daylilies. Using different colored wires that have assigned pollen parents, you can place these 3-1/2" wires around the stem just behind the flower after pollinating.

There are 1,600 wires in total, consisting of 8 different solid colors of 200 wires per color.

The colors Blue, Black, Yellow, Brown, Purple, Green, Gray, and White.

Each ziplock bag of 200 wires is labeled with the wire color and has a space to write down the Pollen Parent. Also included is a Pollen Parent/Wire Color form so that you can record the pollen parents for all the wire color combinations.

If you need more than 8 different wire color combinations, you can bend over one end of a wire, 1/4" or so.
